Tankless performance without the electrical upgrade.
The Essency stores heat, not your drinking water. Fresh tap water runs through an oversized heat exchanger and comes out hot, on a standard water heater circuit.

Stored heat, fresh water
The Essency keeps a sealed 55 gallons of hot water that never leaves the tank. When you open a faucet, fresh tap water runs through a heat exchanger inside it and comes out hot, the way a tankless unit works. Because the stored water never changes, the polymer tank won't rust and scale buildup is minimized.
